Spring 2026: "This is the message we have heard..."

At RISE YTH this spring, we’re jumping into 1, 2, and 3 John. Whether you’ve grown up in church or you’re just checking things out, this series is about what it actually looks like to know God and follow Jesus for real.

Each week, we’ll start with the kind of stuff students actually deal with…feeling distant from God, struggling with sin, wondering if your faith is real, or trying to figure out what love is supposed to look like. Then we’ll open the Bible and see how John keeps pointing us back to Jesus—who He is, what He’s done, and what that means for us.

We’ll talk through things like walking in the light, turning from sin, staying connected to Jesus, and loving people in a real way...not fake, not surface-level.

Whether you’ve been around church your whole life or you’re just starting to ask questions, this series is meant to help you grow in your faith and actually know God, not just know about Him. If you’re new to Rise, this is a really good time to jump in. You don’t have to have it all figured out—just come as you are.

"In Him, the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord." Ephesians 2:21

What does it mean to be a part of Rise YTH?

We believe we are the temple of God, with Christ as our cornerstone, and we each serve as part of the holy temple that includes all believers. At Rise, the Bible is taught and studied, and we are growing meaningful relationships that extend outside Wednesday evening gatherings.

The mission of Rise is to show students Christ's love and grace by meeting the students where they are, building a biblical understanding of the gospel, guiding them on how to apply that understanding in their own lives, and how to share it with others. We endeavor to create lifelong laborers who are passionately seeking to glorify God and making Him known to the world around them.
