Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

The gospel is the greatest message that has ever been heard; that Jesus Christ came into this broken and fallen world in order to rescue us from the penalty of our sins. He died on the cross, in our place, so that we might have eternal life in Him. All this comes through faith alone in Jesus!

This saving message is given to us, God's people, and He calls and equips us to tell the world the good news of Jesus! We do this by equipping and encouraging one another to share the gospel with our family and friends.
We also are a church that cares deeply about the world, so we partner with dozens of different individuals and organizations that are bringing the gospel to people groups around the globe. We celebrate these relationships at our annual missions conference.

The Great Commission

Before Jesus was taken up to heaven, his last words to his disciples, recorded in Acts 1:8, were "...you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." In the fulfillment of Jesus' prophetic words, the gospel message of His sacrificial death for our sins, and His resurrection for our salvation, has been proclaimed around the world, even in the little town of Nappanee, thousands of miles from the place where these words were first spoken.

In obedience to our Savior's Great Commission, following in the steps of His followers throughout the centuries, we at Living Gospel Church believe that it is our duty not only to be making disciples here in Nappanee, but to also be involved in seeing disciples made, and organized into churches, throughout the world. Over the years, we have sent mission teams to various countries, and support missionaries around the world. For our church family, involvement in missions is part of our DNA.
