KIDMIN

nursery - 5th grade

Living Gospel Church welcomes families to our Children's Ministry by providing a safe environment where kids are learning Bible truths, scripture-based songs, and feeling loved and cared for by our volunteers.

"One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. " Psalm 145:4

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Children's Church

Children’s Church provides age-appropriate Bible teaching to children during the worship service. Our volunteers help check your child in and take them to the large meeting area where they begin the lesson with worship and prayer. Our teachers study through out the week to provide an engaging lesson for our kiddos, setting an example to study the Word  and encouraging scripture memory throughout the lesson. The program runs during both services for children ages 2 through 1st grade.

Sunday School

The Living Gospel Sunday School program strives to teach children God’s Word and how to store it in their hearts. We aim to help kids put on the armor of God. We read and discuss the Bible, memorize verses, and practice our Bible studying skills. We are currently going through the Gospel Project curriculum.  Every class is going over the same passage at their age level.

We offer Sunday School from 9:45-10:30.
There are four age groups available:
·       2-3 year olds
·       Pre K-Kindergarten
·       1st-2nd Graders
·       3rd-5th Graders

bible explorers

Our Wednesday night Bible Explorers and Satellites program seeks to teach the Bible to children in an environment that fosters a love for God and the church community.

When do we meet?
The program meets on Wednesday nights during the school year (Sept - May) from 6:45PM - 8:00PM

Who is this program for?
All children 4 years old through 5th grade.

What does a night at Bible Explorers look like?
All children check in with volunteers in the basement "foyer" at the east entrance of the church. Each week, the night begins with a time of worship that the children are able to participate in all together. We then split up into groups based on age/grade, where they are taught a Bible lesson and have a lot of fun during a time of games or crafts. At the end of the night, parents pick their children up either at the east entrance to the Fellowship Hall (1st - 5th graders) or upstairs in the Youth Room (4 YO - Kindergarten).
What if I have more questions or need to register my child?
Mary Miller will be happy to help answer any questions or help your child get registered for Bible Explorers.
