Greeters
Purpose: The Greeter Ministry is an opportunity to share God's Love to everyone who walks through our door. Life is so busy these days. At LGC, our goal is to welcome visitors into the body of Christ with a smile, and make them feel comfortable.
Volunteer responsibilities: Assisting families with elevator access and the elderly, handing out bulletins, and directions to SS Classrooms or other areas of the church, guidance to visitors finding friends or family into services or classrooms, providing safe access at entrances of the church with snow removal and securing the doors during services, and getting to know people and making new friendships.
Volunteers needed: A Greeter is scheduled one month or more in a calendar year, which would include both services and Sunday School. The amount of Greeters needed varies from those willing to serve more than one month at a time. On average we have 20-volunteers. The Greeter Schedule runs from February-January.
